Nutritional Yeast

ZYEA_1302867176838850280_LThe name may not be very attractive, but the BENEFITS are!  And rest assured, it’s deactivated yeast and not the same as what we use to bake with.  It’s a great vegan substitute for cheese and is loaded with good stuff.

  • Delicious substitute for cheese

Above is the brand that I use.  You can find it at any health food store, and sometimes also at regular grocery stores too.  It comes in flakes and should be sealed and stored in the fridge once you open it.  I can’t express how awesome this simple ingredient is – super tasty and super nutritious.
