Event: Night Nation Run

Guys, I just registered!!  There are 3 things that I’ve been wanting to do lately…

Attend a dance party – my boyfriend & I used to party quite regularly, but it’s been a little while and now we’re itching to go.  You know, to feel young again haha  Would love a night of dressing up, pre-gaming with friends, and dancing!

Participate in a run – but one that is short enough to not kill me, because I don’t consider myself a runner.  I love the thought of it but I don’t run long distance as I get shin splints easily.  The 10K Vancouver Sun Run is a bit daunting (though I may try it next year), but 5K would be perfect!

Contribute to a fundraiser – to be honest, I’ve been waiting to come across a fun event with a great cause.  I used to organize teams for the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life event and participated in BC Cancer Foundation’s Workout to Conquer Cancer a couple times, but it’s been a couple years since I’ve done either of those…so I’d say it’s about time!

Well, I’m so glad that my friend shared the Night Nation Run with me because it encompasses all three of these in one event!

It’s a 5K running music festival where you can raise funds to support their official charity, Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C)!  A night of live EDM DJs, lights, lasers, and other runners there to have a fun time.  I can’t wait!!

This event happens all over the world and will be in Vancouver on August 6th, 2016.  I share this in a hurry because TODAY is the final day to of early-bird registration, it’s only $35 right now!  Tomorrow the price will double.

Enter promo code JUMP to save an extra $6!

Register now, grab your glowsticks and running shoes, and I’ll see you there!
